Refunds & Disputes
Refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes.
Our fees are charged for professional consulting services performed, not for the approval, denial, payment, or final determination of any disability claim.
No guarantee of claim approval
Breaking Free Disability LLC does not guarantee that any disability claim, appeal, reconsideration, or benefit request will be approved.
All claim decisions are made by the applicable insurance company, third-party administrator, employer, government agency, or other authorized decision-maker. Engaging our services does not guarantee a favorable outcome.
Nonrefundable services
All fees paid for consulting services that have already been performed are nonrefundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly provided under a separate written agreement.
This includes completed services such as:
- Disability claim consultations and assessments
- Claim documentation reviews
- Administrative claim assistance
- Claim status inquiries and communication support
- Assistance organizing claim submissions
- Return-to-work and leave coordination support
- Administrative appeal preparation assistance
A client's dissatisfaction with a claim outcome does not, by itself, establish a right to a refund.
Denied or unfavorable claim outcomes
Breaking Free Disability LLC is not financially responsible solely because a claim is denied, delayed, terminated, reduced, or otherwise decided unfavorably by an independent third party. A denied claim, unsuccessful appeal, or unfavorable benefit decision does not automatically qualify a client for a refund.
This provision does not exclude liability for the Company's own misconduct, breach of agreement, or other conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
Cancelling your services
Clients may request cancellation of consulting services by providing written notice to Breaking Free Disability LLC. Upon cancellation:
- Fees for services already completed remain payable and are generally nonrefundable.
- Fees paid in advance for services not yet performed will be reviewed and refunded to the extent required by the agreement and applicable law.
- Any agreed, lawful cancellation charges will be disclosed in the client's signed service agreement.
- The Company will provide an accounting of completed services and applicable charges upon request.
How to request a refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Breaking Free Disability LLC by email:
BreakingFreeDisabilityLLC@outlook.com
Please provide your full name, the service purchased, the payment date, and the reason for requesting a refund. Refund requests will ordinarily receive an acknowledgment within five business days. We will review the applicable agreement, services performed, and any relevant legal requirements before issuing a decision.
Payment disputes
If you have a billing error, duplicate charge, or concern about the services you received, please contact us first — we want to make it right.
Nothing in our policy restricts your rights to dispute charges through a financial institution, submit a complaint to an appropriate agency, or pursue legal remedies available under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable solely for an unfavorable decision independently made by insurance carriers, employers, medical providers, claims administrators, or government agencies. Nothing in this policy waives nonwaivable legal rights or excuses fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
